preparing

the day had finally arrived. the concert was that night at 7:30 pm. that day was a summer day so I didn't have any school. I was at my grandmothers and grandfathers house that whole day. I wasted that whole day watching the Istanbul concert on video and running over the if you can't dance steps. I must have watched that video 100 times. at least! finally about 8 hours of waiting my aunt Shannon picked me up at 2:00pm and took me to her house to get ready for the concert. since I am a boy I wore something boyish. I wore jean pants and a white tee-shirt. I thought to myself that I would get another spice girls tee at the concert. an half hour later my other aunt heather came over and got ready. then this was it we left for the Orlando arena. but, first we had to stop and get my mom and step dad. they worked in Tampa AT PRICE WATERHOUSE COOPERS. THEY GOT READY AT THERE OFFICE. THEN WE WERE ALL READY TO GO. WE HOPPED IN THE CAR AND WERE ON OUR WAY. TRAFFIC WAS HORRIBLE ALL THE WAY FROM TAMPA TO ORLANDO AND THAT IS A 1 AND A HALF HOUR DRIVE. FINALLY AFTER ABOUT HOUR 1/2 WE ARRIVED AT THE ARENA. MY OTHER AUNT WROTE ON MY FACE I LOVE BABY SPICE AND SPICE GIRLS RULE WITH A MARKER. THEN ONE BY ONE WE STEPPED OUT OF THE CAR AND RAN TOWARDS THE ARENA.

THE SHOW

WE FOUND OUR SEATS FINALLY. WE WERE PRETTY HIGH UP BUT WE COULD SEE THE STAGE FINE. THEN IT HAPPENED. I JUMPED UP AND SAID "MOM I LEFT MY BINOCULARS IN THE CAR"!!!!!! IT WAS TO LATE TO GO GET THEM BECAUSE THE SHOW WAS GOING TO START IN 15 MIN. WELL MY MOM GOT UP AND SAID SHE WOULD BE BACK IN A FLASH. SHE MADE FLYING LEAP TO THE DOOR AND RENTED ME A PAIR OF BINOCULARS. ALTHOUGH SHE MISSED THE FIRST SONG THAT WAS STILL PRETTY NICE. THEN 15MIN LATER THE LIGHTS WENT OUT AND THE CROWD WENT QUITE. THE BIG SCREENS FLASHED ON SHOWING A TINY SPACESHIP HEADING TOWARDS EARTH. IT FINALLY LANDED AND OUT THEY CAME EMMA, MEL C, VICTORIA AND MEL B ALL TOGETHER!!! THAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT IN MY LIFE. IF YOU CAN'T DANCE ROARED THROUGHOUT THE ROOM. THE DANCE WAS PERFECT BUT NOT THE SAME AS WHEN GERI WAS THERE. THE HAD CHANGED THE WHOLE DANCE. ON THE SPANISH RAP A RECORDER PLAYED THE SPANISH PART. I GUESS THE COULDN'T SING IN SPANISH. MY GERI WAS TALENTED, WASN'T SHE? THEN AFTER THAT WHO DO YOU THINK YOU are played. they kind of looked as if they were lip sinking. I don't know. then a couple more songs played like too much and others that I can't even remember. at intermission I got my tee. it was the movie tee. it even had Geri on it. the rest of the show was pretty awesome as well. I rely liked naked and spice up your life. I heard two things and I even checked them out and they were true. Mel b's horns in spice up ....  are attached to a head band and she just slips the headpiece on when she does that song. also I saw with my binoculars that in naked the girls (I saw Vicky) have skin like pieces on. true!

afterward

the drive back home was long and we all fell asleep. I kept thinking that I was actually in the exact same room with my 4 favorite show people. we were actually breathing the same air. that was pretty cool. that was a really cool night. I hope they tour again. soon!!!
